I was doing some research on a law firm (Gun­der­son Dettmer Stough Vil­leneuve Franklin) that helped a sex offender (James Parsa, Xsquire) silence a con­sumer activist who was run­ning a web­site to inform con­sumers about lawyers who were tak­ing up-front fees to mod­ify home loans and not actu­ally doing any work. In the process of my research, I noticed that one of the lawyers had donated two-hundred fifty dol­lars ($250.00) to your sen­ate cam­paign.
